So it's Monday and I'm doing my best to avoid being useful in any way. Thankfully, I have horses in claiming races. Distractions are good, right?

There's Inexpressible, your average first-out winner at 5 furlongs who gets his second win 25 months later at 2 miles. Yes, I'm familiar with the peaks-in-first-start phenomenon, and no, I never had lofty expectations for him, and yes, I definitely mishandled him along the way. But at least I got a second win eventually, right?

Then there's Wilkenfeld, because when you find out there's a stallion named after Jaco ya have to use him. She's cashed in 26 consecutive claiming races and earned 499 BPs without ever being claimed. They don't all have to be stakes winners, right?

Yeah, OK, I'll go mow now. But don't ask me to earn a living.
